Goals, counters and rest days

Goals
A habit can have a goal: 3 days a week, 12 a month, 100 a year. The row says whether you are on track, and the habit’s page shows how it is doing this week, month or year.
The goal becomes a Goal line in the reminder’s own notes, so Apple Reminders shows it too, and it travels with the reminder to every device.
Counters
Some habits count rather than tick: reps, pages, glasses, minutes. Give a habit a unit, any word after a number, like reps, cups or km, and it becomes a counter. Add one, five or ten, or type the number you did. Today’s total is the biggest thing on the screen.
A goal on a counter takes an amount, like 100 reps a week. Zero removes the day: a counter has no untick. Leave the unit empty to go back to ticking.
Rest days
Rest days are days off, not a broken streak. A habit you keep on weekdays no longer reads as broken every Saturday.
Streaks
A streak is how many days a habit has been kept in a row. A rest day neither breaks it nor adds to it.
