Siri and Shortcuts
Type what you did in your own words and the right habits get ticked on the right days. Write it the way you would say it, like “ran this morning and took my vitamins”. Yesterday and last night work too.
Siri and Shortcuts do the same by voice.
What you can ask
- “I did run in Alto Daily” or “Mark run done in Alto Daily” ticks a habit.
- “What’s left in Alto Daily” says the habits you have not completed today.
- “What is my run streak in Alto Daily” says how many days a habit has been kept in a row.
- “How am I doing in Alto Daily” says how a habit is doing this week, month or year.
- “Add a habit to Alto Daily” makes a new one.
- “Type what I did in Alto Daily” takes a sentence and ticks the habits in it.
In Shortcuts
The same actions are in the Shortcuts app, so a habit can be ticked from an automation: when you leave the gym, when an alarm stops, at a time of day. There is an action to remove today’s completion for a habit, too.
