The terms for the Alto Daily app on iPhone, iPad and Mac, sold through the App Store under Apple's standard license, and for altodaily.com.

These terms cover the Alto Daily app and this website, both run by System Operator LLC. Last updated October 12, 2026.

## The app

### What it is

Alto Daily is an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that shows the repeating reminders in your Apple Reminders lists as habits and ticks them. It is a program running on your devices, not a service. Your habits are kept by Apple Reminders, not by us. [Privacy](/privacy) says what little leaves your device.

### License and purchases

Alto Daily is distributed through the App Store and licensed to you under Apple's standard [Licensed Application End User License Agreement](https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/). The app is free. alto.pro is a one-time in-app purchase, and tips are optional in-app purchases that unlock nothing; both are made with Apple, and payment, refunds and taxes are handled by Apple under the App Store terms. There is no subscription.

### Your reminders

Alto Daily changes your reminders only when you ask it to: ticking a habit completes its reminder, and making, renaming or deleting a habit makes, renames or deletes that reminder in Apple Reminders. Deleting a habit deletes its completed days with it, and the app says how many before it does.

### As is

Under Apple's agreement the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows.

## The website

altodaily.com describes Alto Daily. There is nothing to sign up for. Read it, link to it and quote it; do not try to break or overload it. The words and images on this site belong to System Operator LLC. Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac and Reminders belong to Apple.

## Both

### Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Alto Daily in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

### Changes

We can update the app, the website and these terms. We date this page when it changes.

### Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, where System Operator LLC is formed, without regard to conflict of law rules.
