Alto Daily works on your devices. No account, no server of its own: your habits stay in Apple Reminders.

Your habits live in Apple Reminders. There is no account.

- **Your habits stay in Apple Reminders.** Alto Daily reads and ticks the reminders in the lists you choose. It has no server that could receive them, and keeps no copy of its own. They sync by iCloud the way your reminders already do.
- **Reminders access is the one permission it needs.** Alto Daily can only see your habits with permission to read Reminders. It reads only the lists you choose.
- **Places (alto.pro) are off until you turn them on for a habit.** Then Alto Daily asks once for your location and saves roughly where you were, the neighbourhood and never the address, into that completion in Apple Reminders. It goes nowhere else.
- **The daily nudge** is a notification the app schedules on your device, at the hour you choose. Nothing is asked until you turn it on.
- **Usage data.** Anonymous counts, like how many habits are ticked and which screens are opened, help decide what to build next. Never a habit's or a list's name, and nothing you type. One switch in Settings turns it off, and off forgets the install's random id.
- **Crash reports.** When Alto Daily crashes or freezes, the report (where in the code it happened, the app and system version) is sent to our own diagnostics service. It never contains a habit, a list or a place.
- **Game Center** leaderboards and challenges are off. Nothing is signed in and nothing is shared unless you turn them on, and then only two numbers: days on target this month and your longest streak. Never a habit name.
- **Purchases and tips** are handled by Apple. We see no card and no Apple Account.
- **Only what you send leaves.** Feedback you write, and your email if you ask for updates, go to us only when you send them.
